Drawer (sidebar) component

Hello fellas,

I've been looking through the docs and couldn't find the drawer (or sidebar) component. The component is shown when using the swipe gesture left->right from the left edge of the screen on the hub screen( I'm currently on z10, Cascades, SDK 10.2). Is there a native drawer component or should I develop one myself?

Thanks in advance

Re: Drawer (sidebar) component

What your seeing is the TabbedPane...

But a drawer can easily be accomplished with an animated container.

Re: Drawer (sidebar) component

Yeah, I am aware of the TabbedPane, I was just wondering if there is a drawer already implemented since it's widely used component, especially on some other platforms.

Re: Drawer (sidebar) component

Funnily enough I asked the same question about a year ago and many people (not coming from android) didn't know what I meant by drawer.

In the end, on feedback from developers and users, I removed the drawer from my app (which did use a container and animation) and instead moved the action to the action menu still with a sliding animation.

A separate widget is not needed as;

1) It doesn't really fit in to to the BBOS UI style

and

2) If you really must have it it's just a few lines of QML.
