Error: slogger2 buffer handle not initialized.

Upon loading the app on the device and app launched, I get this error message.

Does anyone know what causes this error?!! It's driving me nuts. The symptom is that the transition/animation throughout the app stop working after the app have been minimized and remaximized.

Re: Error: slogger2 buffer handle not initialized.

Okay, upon further examination, I found out that the page transitions break if the

backButtonsVisible: false

is applied on the NavigationPane

The  "Error: slogger2 buffer handle not initialized." error seem to be an issue of the sdk build.. :smileysad:

Can someone from rim confirm both of these? They both seem to be sdk problems

Re: Error: slogger2 buffer handle not initialized.

whew, glad to know that i'm not the only one with the problem.

1. the error message doesn't seem to have any effect on the app after it's been pushed onto the device

2. the animation breaks when back button visibility is set to false AND the app have been minimized once. I would like to know if this will be fixed on the final version of the OS or else I will be forced to make the back button visible.. :smileysad:

Re: Error: slogger2 buffer handle not initialized.

Just tested my app and this is definitely happening.  All transitions are fine, but once I minimize and maximize, the transitions are gone and the pushed page just appears.

Wasn't like this before the latest SDK update.

Re: Error: slogger2 buffer handle not initialized.

Confirming the same thing. In my case, there's no Back button either. Presumably just a serious regression in "gold 2", which we can expect to have fixed in the release version of the OS.

I'm experiencing the same problem as well. I hope a solution to it is around the corner. Anyone from RIM?

Can anybody (like myself) report this as a bug to RIM via the Developer Zone?
