So basically what is the answer here?? I should be using Eclipse or you are still looking to fix the issue?

Please try installing 32bit Eclipse on its own using a fresh workspace and see if you are able to start that.
That would eliminate any workspace or plug-in issues.
Do you have a 64 bit JDK installed anywhere on that machine?

I installed Eclipse 32bits and I do get the same error.
As for the Java I don't see anything under my Programs. Is there any other way to check this out???

All Java installations should appear in your installed programs listing (in Control Panel).
But since the base version of Eclipse is installing, this doesn't seem to be triggered by our plug-in.
I recommend posting this in the Eclipse forum (http://www.eclipse.org/forums/), since the error happens in Eclipse itself.
Let us know how you make out or if you get stuck.
