Re: Example of using Active Frames?

Thanks for the sample code.

While it works great on the DevAlpha, minimising the app causes the app to crash on the simulator. For now I will assume that this is a bug in the simulator, and is probably related to why I had been unable to figure this issue out.

Yes. It crashed to me as well on the simulator. It's a bug for sure.

You can vote on it here https://www.blackberry.com/jira/browse/BBTEN-340

Re: Example of using Active Frames?

@igosoft....thanks for the example. I got it working for my app on device only (crashes sim)....The only thing is I had to move the setCover function.

From: main.cpp
To: ActiveFrameExample.cpp

Also
From: app.setCover(new ActiveFrame());
To: app->setCover(new ActiveFrame());

Not sure exactly why but it was the only way I could get the code working. If you know what my issue could have been let me know. And thanks again for the sample!

Re: Example of using Active Frames?

jaica I'm not sure as well. In both cases it must work.

I'm using Dev Alpha with Beta3.

Please keep in mind that there is an knowsn issue 6019786 related to ImageView and app cover
