Extract native project from Bar

So i have had an issue with my computer and lost all my recent work. Not happy on this but i will move on.

I have the current release of my application in BAR format, is there anyway of extracting the project from the Bar file itself or will i just have to work from previous version of the application?

Thanks in Advance.

Re: Extract native project from Bar

the BAR file is just a ZIP file with a different file extension... so rename it as .zip and you can open it up with any zip-file tool

Re: Extract native project from Bar

Thanks for the quick reply, Yup that did it for half the project. Assets folder which has QML file and images but the c++ side the the project is not there.

What i have is an .SO (Shared Object) file which is not readable when opened. Any ideas on whither this can be opened by something and read?

Re: Extract native project from Bar

The .so file is the compiled binary of your project - the original source code will never be included once a project has been compiled.
