I have written an app (FREE!) that digs into the font repository on the PlayBook and renders the system fonts and lists with their corresponding file names using the bbutil_render_text function. It was mostly to serve my needs and I'm sharing it with the community. It is handy for those like me who want to quickly find the right font to use and where the font file is located.
Download DeFonts from App World.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've added that into version 1.1 and it's been uploaded for approval. With any luck, it should be available for download in a day or two.
Regarding Comic Sans: Well, I wrote the app out of frustration and just wanted to have some fun and Comic Sans looks cute to me. ![]()
If anyone wants me to add custom point size and/or custom text, let me know and I can add those in as in-app purchases.
But I doubt anyone would pay for that since there are other free apps on App World that have those features though none seems to show the path name for the font files. (Please correct me if I'm wrong regarding this last point.)
