For playbook, use the NDK2 functions documented in https://developer.blackberry.com/native/reference/,

not the BB10 functions documented in https://developer.blackberry.com/native/beta/documentation/

In particular, use deviceinfo_get_identifying_data() to get the pin.  (https://developer.blackberry.com/native/reference/com.qnx.doc.bps.lib_ref/com.qnx.doc.bps.lib_ref/to...

Re: Getting PIN with native SDK

This was actually my problem, I was using functions in the same header file (deviceinfo.h) that were not deprecated, probably meant for BB10, thus not finding the libs on the device... a bit misleading.

Thanks Stuart for the follow up, I appreciate that.
