Headless application question

I'm developing an app with cascades.

I've the headless_no_stop permissions for signing.

It's normal that, when I kill (from the task manager) my app and I reopen it, it is not headless?

I do this:

-boot my phone

-the app is headless

-i kill the app from the task manager

-i open the app

-i close normally the app (not forcing with task manager)

-the app doesn't run in background until the os reboot.

It's normal? Is there any way to reopen in headless mode? I'm trying to invoke the headless service from the UI, but only the "OS START EVENT" open the headless service.

Re: Headless application question

Yes, it's normal. Increase the built number when uploading from the SDK to restart the headless module. Apart from that a reboot is needed.

Re: Headless application question

You can invoke the Headless part after init the UI part:

bb::system::InvokeRequest request;
request.setTarget("com.example.headless");
request.setAction("bb.action.system.STARTED");
request.setMimeType("application/vnd.blackberry.system.event.STARTED");
m_invokeManager->invoke(request);
