How can I check if an App already installed?

I reopen this topic again.

My previous post is here.

The solution is not working on DEV Alpha B device. I cannot list /accounts/1000/appdata/ directory on a DEV Alpha B device. We need a new method to determine whether an app is installed or not.

Nothing has changed since the previous time you asked the question. If you need some API for that, file a Feature Request in JIRA (the issue tracker, link available at the bottom of any developer.blackberry.com page).

Idea for a possible solution:

Application A has a Card.

Application B invokes that card.

The question is: What happens if there is no card?
