How do I disable ListView, Listview.enabled: false doesn't appear to be working

Hi,

I'm trying to disable the user from being able to iteract with the ListView while I'm appending/loading addtional data to it..

I figured something link this would work.  but it doesn't seem to make a difference if I set enabled: false, as the ListView still remains active..

ListView {
                id: searchListView
                enabled: !(searchDataSource.isLoading)
                .......

You can create a sign warning that the model was loaded and then plug it in QML.

ex:
c + +
emit this->modelLoaded ();

QML
  app.modelLoaded.connect (stopActivityIndicator)
__
