How to Launch Apps like the Chrome Extension?

[ Edited ]

Does anyone know the Cascades QML or CPP analogue to the PlayBook App Manager Chrome Extension "Launch" function? I've tried a

bb.action.OPEN invokation but that doesn't work.

Please use plain text.

Re: How to Launch Apps like the Chrome Extension?

The PlayBook App Manager is a Chrome plugin that manages app deployment for you. There is no QML or C++ equivalent.

We didn't write that plugin, and it's therefore neither supported or endored by us, but it may still work on BlackBerry 10.

When you deploy a bar file via the command line tools, there is a flag you can set that will launch the application afterwards, but that is a function of the commandline tools and not a programming language, if that's what you're asking.
