How to change orientation of camera view?

I am developing an application in BB 10. When I fix the orientation of the application to lanscape, the camera view doesn't change its orientation & works in portrait mode. Is there any way to manually switch orientaion of camera view? Note that I have fixed the orientation of the application in bar-descriptor.

There is no published sample describing this yet.

 

I suggest you read this thread as a start:

There is some reasonable explanation in the camera_get_native_orientation() section.  I will provide more detail when time permits.
