How to create horizontal picker or listview?

Hi,

I want to create a horizontal selector (can be a picker or listview) which can select one item and other non selected will be greyed out or lower opacity just like most selector you see in iOS apps. Any idea please?

Re: How to create horizontal picker or listview?

Don't think there's such a thing as horizontal picker, but you can certainly make a horizontal ListView. Can't think of anything that would exactly match what you need, but at least this should be a good starter for 10.

ListView {
    layout: StackListLayout {
        orientation: LayoutOrientation.LeftToRight
    }
}

Re: How to create horizontal picker or listview?

Thanks, managed to make it scroll horizontally now. The reason why i thought of picker is because there is a highlighter when an item is selected. And picker can only select one item. Possible to do this on listview? I suppose it is possible.

hello steve8820,

Ofcourse its possible you can design the delegate in such a manner that you can select one at a time or give it a different look upon selection.

Thats what im trying to achieve, do you have any sample codes that illustrate it? I have no idea how it should be.

Thanks
