How to get the phone number from an incoming call?

The signal Phone.callUpdated(const bb::system::Phone::Call &call) is working for me in that I get notificed when a call comes in. However the docs don't show how to get the phone number.. ie something like

call->getPhoneNumber()

Can this be done and if not, is it on purpose or just not done yet and will be available soon?

thanks,

Ryan

How are you getting calls?  On a device or simulator?

Yes I'd like to know as well how you are simulating or receiving calls?

Re: How to get the phone number from an incoming call?

Currently, there is no method that exposes the phone number of an incoming call.

Re: How to get the phone number from an incoming call?

Mark,  can you explain how we can get the phone to work with microSim?  I've put one in my dev alpha B....I see the 3g on top and it is connected...but phone icon on bottom left is greyed out?  Thanks.

Re: How to get the phone number from an incoming call?

The Phone application is not included in the current BlackBerry Dev Alpha OS.  You can only use cellular service for data connections, not phone calls.

It wasn't taken with the version of OS we released publicly.

Re: How to get the phone number from an incoming call?

Mark,  I see that...question is why this guy has this version and devs trying to write apps don't?  Is he part of RIM?
