QDeclarativeItem is a Qt UI function, so is not supported in Cascades. I think your question would be best suited for a new thread.

Could you provide info on the navigation paradigm being used? What would be housed on each of the panes?
 
This will help to understand the flow and then hopefully allow me to suggest some alternative approaches, or help generate a use case for a feature request. 

Thanks, Garett. Using your advice, I've actually re-designed and simplified the UI to be more appropriate for the Cascades paradigm. I would like to stay within the BB10 UI guidelines as much as possible so I made some minor design concessions. If I have any more related questions I think it will be appropriate for me to start a new thread.
