How to retrieve pictures stored by Camera at its default location.

Hi, I'm storing pictures using Camera API's function camera_roll_open_photo (to retrieve the next available file from the camera roll). I can see the captured images from IDE via Target File System. the location is "10.12.48.85:/accounts/1000/shared/camera/IMG_00000104.jpg"

Now my question is, how to retrive this images programatically??

Hi Megha_9_dec,

you're talking about NDK2, right?

Just double checking, because I saw the same topic today http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Cascades-Development/Files-system-access/td-p/1894671

Ya..u're right.

Actually I think the problem is with filesize. My camera captured images are around 900kb file size.

copied it and put inside assets folder and tried running my app. QML shows the image in preview but when launched i don't get the image.

Can you please help how can I reduce the filesize while capturing using camera API of bb10 ?

Hi Megha_9_dec,

did you see my comment on the other thread? We've made some tests with the posted app, and we found out that, the limit for an ImageView is 2048 x 2048.

Testing the camera app also, didn't find a way to set this ratio.
