I think that we can temporarily have a solution to workaround it. You can add a container of markers on top of the container of mapview. This solution is already provided by the sample application of custommapview.

I'm doing it this way

attention: don't peek back from the map - then the "binding" between Markers and Map is destroyed

 

I know from Shadid Haque that they're hard working to make this better

peek is a main concept in the BB UI, it means to slide to the side and view the page below without having to leave the current one.

OK. Thank you. I got it. Because I find it can not peek from left to right on the sample application of custommapview, so that I didn't find it would has that issue.

 

Oops, I just found if peek from top to bottom, it really can repeat that issue.  Can we disable the peek feature on the screen with mapview?

 

Update: I just realized the peek what I mentioned from top to bottom is not called peek, it should be called open the application menu. Updated so that don't want to let you confused. The feature of opening the application menu could not be disabled.
