Implementation of multi level navigation with Cascade

Hello, I want to make a navigation for my application using cascade UI guideline. This navigation has categories and sub categories like the left menu of facabook on Ipad :

So, I m asking you how can I do that ?

I imagine to use a TabPane to show top Level. But I have no idea how to show sub categorie. Maybe do I have to show them from the Top Level Page. ( a DropDown was the idea).

Or maybe , I can create a left menu with 2 levels? Is there something like this  ?

Thanks for your help

Re: Implementation of multi level navigation with Cascade

the left menu (SideBar) is only one level

if you only have up to 3 sublevel, you could use a SegmentedControl for this

or you can use the Overflow Menu from ActionBar for your 2ndLevel Navigation ?

Hi dridk,

I think you should go for TabbedPane. Like we see in BB10's AppWorld application!

The main categories can be placed as Tabs. The subcategories you can place as ActionItems inside Tabs seperately.

Tabs and ActionItem both have placement property. Can be placed on bar and in Overflow menu as well. IMG_00000311.png      IMG_00000313.png

The implementation was also demoed here. This is Facebook's BB10 app.

Documentation is scarce. I think the tabbed pane customization is a custom control.

Looks amazing.
