Hello,

I'm trying to install the native playbook sdk with the simulator on Linux 11.10.

I'm following the Native SDK starting guide.

I've installed the native sdk.

Now I'm trying to install the simulator.

VMPlayer installation is ok but I don't know how to install a virtual machine player ??? Which type of operating system do I choose ? Nothing is explained in the starting guide...

And I can't install the playbook simulator because I have not configure a VM !

I couldn't launch the playbook simulator installer because java runtime environement was not installed. You don't need to create a Virtual machine because the playbook simulator is a .vmx. Just choose open a virtual machine in VMPlayer and choose /opt/RIM/BlackBerryPlayBookSimulator.vmx
