Is it possible to hook into charging event?

Hello devs,

Is it possible to subscribe on charger plugged/unplugged event in Blackberry 10? Any ideas? I found this class https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/bb__device__batteryinfo.html , but it seems like the application needs to be running to know if battery status changed. What if application is not running and I want to start it when charger is plugged in?

Thanks!

There are no documented Invocation Framework actions which would allow you to do this. Although the Invocation Framework is capable of launching apps when they're not running (e.g. when new Push Service data arrives, or an NFC tag is read), there's nothing that supports doing that in this particular case or with anything to do with the battery.

You could add a feature request in Jira if you would like to see this in future.
