Is there enough system access and permissions to Create or Change the Lock Screen on BB10

So Basically im looking to create an app to customize the lock screen to make an interactive unlocking process with the user.

My Question is at this point and time with the latest NDK can i create an app to be able have access the BB10 System  core to change or customize the way the phone is unlocked.  . Something like  the Slide-To-Unlock Apps but a different mechanism  and interaction, even willing to work with cascades and QML.

There's no way you could build something like that right now.

Re: Is there enough system access and permissions to Create or Change the Lock Screen on BB10

Sorry, nobody can say. RIM hasn't mentioned it, and generally does not describe such things much in advance. It's not likely an important enough feature even to make it onto the new "arrival board" when they start releasing that info either, but you can hope: http://devblog.blackberry.com/2012/07/blackberry-10-beta-sdk-updates/

One thing you could do now is add a ticket in the Jira issue tracker describing your use case and marking it as a "Feature request" or "new feature" (whichever it is) rather than as a Bug.
