navigator_invoke function

you give it a URI of what you launching. Most system apps have uri shorcuts, but for generic app it is its full name including packag name and eco Id. I don't know exact uri example maybe search air forum for it?

Would be interested in that the syntax is for this. People have been asking for this in AIR for some time.

Re: Launching platform music player or contacts app from native C/C++ code

what is the format for general app, ie..one with out uri support.. Suppose I have facebook app name :  "com.facebookforplaybook.gYABgGIoTQuGRMYqlV83okVZick"

I tried using navigator_invoke("com.facebookforplaybook.gYABgGIoTQuGRMYqlV83okVZick" , NULL); but nothing happened...How do we invoke the above app ??
