Limited Edition Trade-Up for Dev Alpha

Hello, I just came across this site for the Limited Edition Trade-Up https://developer.blackberry.com/limitededition/ and was surprised I haven't heard about it before. I guess it's new. Like this post, if you like it :smileyhappy:

Has RIM contacted anyone yet, for those who have signed up?

registered since day one, but not contacted yet.

Anyway, they will not deliver before official launch on Jan30 so they still have some time.

They also  probably have more on their plate that they can do ;-)

Re: Limited Edition Trade-Up for Dev Alpha

I registerd a week ago and no answer. Not even an email that confirms that the registration process was successful, so i have nothing in my hands to prove that i registered ever.

I read in the FAQs:

"If your application does not meet the qualifications you have the following options:

  1. Update the application per the Terms & Conditions and re-submit.
  2. Create and submit a new app that complies with the Terms & Conditions."

But then i need to know VERY soon, if my app meets the qualifications.

So, please, i need a date, when i will know, if my app meets the qualifications.

I have two more already approved apps. Is it possible to register more than one app, to play it safe?

Re: Limited Edition Trade-Up for Dev Alpha

If you haven't received an email don't worry.
I thought that my apps failed to qualify and thought that I should re-register (after a week) which I did. I filled in the form but where it would usually say: Thank You appeared: "A limited edition device has already been allocated for the device with PIN..."
Which means I am confirmed a limited edition, this was also confirmed by @Blackberrydev on twitter.
You can check by doing that, I didn't receive any email though.
