I want to show a thumbnail of a video in the filesystem of device - should i be learning how to load the video into memory and go from there or is there an actual thumbnail image somewhere on the device I could load?

I still can't solve this on my own and i've been coming back to it for months - I am successfully able to listen for metaData signal but that doesn't contain any link to an image file or any reference to artwork in the qvariantmap which is returned, it only contains uri to the video file and details such as smaple rate, width and height of the video.
