Lost in Translation with Signing Process

I'm a little bit lost with the setup of the signing keys. All I have are some bits ans pieces but I'm missing a big picture of how to setup  the signing. Isn't there a page that describes that a bit more in details?

What I have:

NDK 10.1.0.1020

According to signing pregs page, I'm registered with the RIM Signing Authority.

I have a dev certificate (freshly created).

When I try to create the debug token (what is it good for?), it asks me for a CSK password. Which password is that?

Thanks for the help!

Jochen

Re: Lost in Translation with Signing Process

It sounds like you have signing configured correctly.

The password it's asking for is one you chose when you installed the code signing keys.

Re: Lost in Translation with Signing Process

If you haven't signed anything with these keys before, you can remove your existing keys by deleting the files in the article below and then install a new set you order.

Backup and Restore BlackBerry Code Signing Keys

Note that if you have used these keys to sign applications that are in BlackBerry World, you will have this problem if you change keys.

Error "File bundle (your_name) has been rejected." When Uploading BAR File to BlackBerry® World™
