Low Level Audio API

I've been hunting for native support for very low level audio control for PlayBook apps, but so far with no success. I'm wanting access to the raw PCM data stream so that I can process the data in real time, perform FFT, display the spectrum, etc. Is there a low layer API that lets me access the audio stream for processing?

I believe this is what you're looking for:

You should be able to capture the data using those functions, and work with it accordingly. FFTs and such should be pretty straightforward.

If this answered your question, like this post and/or mark it solved.
