I'm trying to find how message boxes and overlay windows should look in Cascades, but there's no such info neither in UI Guidelines nor in Cascades documentation and API.
Have I missed something? Thanks.

I did a bit of investigating, and the only place the UI guidelines mention dialogs is for error display. For child or overlay windows it suggests using Sheets http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverab
For dialogs, you can use the system dialogs availble in the native NDK https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/native/referen
it is capable of showing simple prompts, login boxes, file browsing and more.
But to answer your question directly there doesn't seem to be a way to create a dialog from Cascades proper at this time. Look for it in future NDK releases

Woah. There's no way in Cascades currently to display Alert style boxes? That's really surprising.

This really surprises me. A good UI framework should also provide an API for something that is in the guidelines, like the Sheets or some simple Dialogs.
