Did you manage to resolve this? I'm on Ubuntu 12.04 x64 and am having the same problem. Everything seems to be working except for the QML Preview.

I have the same error 64bit Ubuntu:

 

/opt/bbndk-10.0.4-beta/target/linux/x86/usr/lib/li

bQtCascades-IDE.so: libOSMesa.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

 

and no QML preview

I also have this problem (64-bit OpenSuse 11.4) - anyone resolved it?

I have found the solution in some post. Unfortunately I do not remember what it was exactly. Try searching the forum or google for it.
You basically have to install that lirary manually because it doesn't get installed with the command from the installation instructions. You have installed the 32 bit libraries, haven't you?
I have no idea how to install them on Suse. On ubuntu you do:
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
To install libOSMesa.so.6 better check that post
