Performance best practice...

 

Apparently:

 

"You should always try to avoid loading data in response to a user's request for it."

 

Are you sure the doc writers understand what they are saying ?

And yes, I'm sure they understood what they were saying, and agree with it. It may be something that could be expressed more clearly, however, if you did not understand it...

I'll just point to an earlier section subtitle "Avoid loading large amounts of QML in response to a user's action" by way of explanation.

Maybe you can think of improved wording for them...
