QT 4.8.4 (yes 4.8.4) Build Posting

[ Edited ]

Ok all,  QT is now on 4.8.4 and I have started the builds.  Here is what you will find

- QT 4.8.4 for the device as well as the SIM

- Symbian components built for the device as well as the SIM

QT mobility components build for the device as well as the SIM

Things you MAY find there

- QT 4.8.4 built for Windows (using VS and/or g++)

- QT Creator (latest build) built for Windows (using VS and/or g++)

Personally I use the 4.8.4 libraries with the BB IDE rather than QT Creator, but that may change soon.

I will have this all in a BOX.net directory you can find here at https://www.box.com/s/mku1r3h1apzvh3e8tx20

This will be updated weekly.

Enjoy

Bryan

moc uic rcc and lrelease don't work in windows, missing libgcc
_s_sjlj-1.dll
Probably wrong link option is used during build

Being that these are the libs for the device and the SIM there are no DLL builds at all...therefore the error you are experiencing are from something else.

Re: QT 4.8.4 (yes 4.8.4) Build Posting

well, error comes from using wrong link option during the build of bin folder (uic moc rcc lrelease tools). arm and x86 libs are not affected at all.

sorry for the 404 errors, seems the "." was included in the URL.  I edited the OP.

Re: QT 4.8.4 (yes 4.8.4) Build Posting

@borceg - build and linking should not even be using the "bin" folder.  Perhaps I can recommend a new install of your IDE and then replacing the existing libs (and includes) with the new ones I provide.

It still does not work. You have to remove the "." I think.
