[SOLVED] BlackBerry 10 Native SDK for Linux installation failing

[ Edited ]

Hi, I'm trying to install the SDK on my 64bit Ubuntu 12.04. I have ia32-libs installed as well as Java >= 1.6:

java version "1.6.0_27"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.12.3) (6b27-1.12.3-0ubuntu1~12.04.1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode)

I'm getting the following output when running ./installer-bbndk-bb10_1_x-linux-1020-201303191709-201303191501.bin :

Preparing to install...
Extracting the JRE from the installer archive...
Unpacking the JRE...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...

Launching installer...

An internal LaunchAnywhere application error has occured and this application cannot proceed. (LAX)

I already have 3 different Qt environments installed & running so this must be something BB-specific?

cheers

Matti

Re: [SOLVED] BlackBerry 10 Native SDK for Linux installation failing

Solved. The **bleep**ty installer is to blame indeed:

use:

export PS1="\s:\#> "

.. or similar and run it.

I lol'd.
