[SOLVED]Cannot pair Z10 to a Linux machine

[ Edited ]

I need to connect a Z10 to a elementary OS.

I have installed QNX Momentics IDE.

Now, when I type the password in "Pair using USB" field, it says "Cannot connect! Device disconnected or cannot be detected".

Development mode is on and I have chosen autodetect in USB section.

here is lsusb command in linux:

"Bus 002 Device 020: ID 0fca:8020 Research In Motion, Ltd."

So linux sees the device.

Do I need to install any additional driver?

To anybody who had the same problem. You should choose "mac" in usb Connections instead of autodetect. BB team should solve this issue. Not everybody will try to put mac when using linux.

This makes yet another cut in "a death by a thousand papercuts" for the BlackBerry developer community.
