Scollbar Issue in Cascades

Hi,

For geting scrollbar,m using scrollview api in my application. It's also working as per expected behavior. But still facing problem in some area like if consider below given points.

1>Scroll Position

2>Scroll Enabled by page (swipe by page)

3>Show/hide scroll bar

There is no direct api to do this in scrollview.

Any concern regarding this would be more helpful to me.Please have some idea.

Regards,

Re: Scollbar Issue in Cascades

You could always do your own customcontrol.

1) Scroll Position, not sure what you mean by this as the grey bar shows where you are in the scroll.

2) You could always add key functionality on keyboard devices or add your own gestures, the problem then, albeit small, is then educating your users.

3) Not sure why you would want this as it takes up no screen real estate and auto shows/hides fairly intuitively to most users I would guess.

If you've been helped click on Like Button, if you've been saved buy the app. :smileyhappy:

Re: Scollbar Issue in Cascades

Thanks for reply.Let me carify my requirement about scroll position in some scenario like to know the position of scroll bar (emit some signal) whether it's in begining or end or pull down or push up.

In 2nd case, sorry not getting exaclty for your workaround solution.

Finally in last case, through programmtically wants to decide the appearance of scroll bar.In my case its not appearing but scrolling working fine.

Re: Scollbar Issue in Cascades

1. Use viewableArea() method to get current scroll position.
3. You can't hide/show scrollbars for now.
