Simulator won't get passed START SERVICE: hid

*running Windows 7

When I run the vmx in VMWare, the startup process lingers at:
[ START SERVICE: hid ]

    [ Starting io-usb ]

I have waited for over an hour, multiple times.  I have tried reinstalling the simulator image.  I have tried installing the simulator image in admin mode.  I have tried running VMWare in admin mode.  Now I'm stuck.  Any ideas?

Re: Simulator won't get passed START SERVICE: hid

Same problem here only it sometimes also shows the message:

waitfor timed out

and then stops. I too have tried everything stated in the previous comment but they do not seem to solve the problem.

Please help.....

Which simulator? What OS and version of VMPlayer are you using?
