Spicing things up

How in Cascades (QML) I could do the following:

1) Fill a container with a gradient color, make it semi-transparent

2) Add a drop shadow around this container.

The container contains bunch of labels, buttons and input boxes.

Coming from AIR SDK -- in AIR this is all built-in, just apply right filters and set the properties.

Not sure how to do this in QML

Re: Spicing things up

You can try them as following :

1. While filling container with a color use Color.create(r, g, b, a) , alter value of alpha component

2. Make your container to be child of another container(parent) of the same dimensions as your container. Just set padding in layout properties of your container. Use any color in the background of the parent container.

Hope it helps.

Always Success
