anyone figured out a way to turn off and on wifi yet?

no.
the capability CanStartAndStopInterfaces in https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/qnetworkconfigurationmanager.html is not set, so you are not allowed to start or stop interfaces.

I would love to have a software that enables/disables wifi based on my location, but its not possible at the moment.

Arrggg!! BB need to step up and release more apis.  Still missing phone, phonecall, bbm, sound profiles, background apps....  Too many to list.
