I'm not able to install : BlackBerry10Simulator-Installer-BB10_0_09-386-Win-201209241939.exe

on Windows 8 Pro x64 with java

I always got this error message when installing it. 

PS.  I redownloaded it and the same message.

I was able to solve this by setting the installer EXE to Windows 7 compatibility mode and doing a Run as Administrator.  Remarkably the Simulator seems to be working fine despite reports that it does not run on Windows 8.
