Update to the Beta2 NDK

Two issues with Beta2 of the NDK have been identified as significant enough, and with sufficient potential to affect developers' work, to warrant a new patch.

The first fix addresses an issue within the invocation API, where the invocation framework does not launch the target on the simulator. The second fix reverses the current defaults for posting notifications in the Notifications API, setting Badge to ON by default, and Vibrate to OFF by default.

You can learn more about the fixes in this patch here: Tweaking the BlackBerry 10 Beta 2 Native SDK

If neither of these fixes is relevant to your work, you are welcome to continue using the Beta2 version of the NDK that you already have installed.

Re: Update to the Beta2 NDK

Is it possible to get update of the SDK & IDE by using eclipse updates because currently whenever new updates has come we have to download entire SDK again and install

Thanks

Re: Update to the Beta2 NDK

No, that's not currently possible, but we are looking at some alternative updating options.

Re: Update to the Beta2 NDK

We don't have a date for that yet, but we're pretty good at letting folks know when new stuff becomes available. :smileyhappy:
