I've updated the SDK this morning using the new menu update option and the old problems have come back. Wish I hadn't now, on trying to create a new C++ Cascades project...
An internal error occurred during: "project build settings update job".
The usual solution of re-installing everything isn't an option here as there is no download, any ideas?
Did anyone work out what was actually causing this the last time?
Cheers for any quick help.

I had this happen once. When it happened I immediately tried to make the project again with the same template and name, and ofr some reason it worked second time around.

Ok so far I've tried;
- Removing the workspace
- Removing all references in regedit
- Setting the Native SDK to an earlier verion
- adding the same template project twice
Nothing fixes it so far.

Ok after trying numerous other attempts to work out what is causing this I gave up and reinstalled from lastest Gold then updated.
Guess what now works, this is a real pain if I am going to have to do this every time the SDK updates.
Hopefully someone at RIM will look into it one day.
