album viewer

hi,

I want to create a horizontally scrolling list of photos that using Cascades. I'm looking for a User Interface object similar to that used by the device Camera application. The user can open the gallery to access to a specific image and have the option to scroll to the previous/next image.

I haven't found any tutorials or API documents about such an object. Can any one help me on this?

Re: album viewer

There isn't one per se.

You can either use a horizontally scrolling ListView or an ImageView which switches pictures on a swipe left or right, use the onTouch signal for this method.

Take a look at the animation page in the Cookbook example for a way of using animations to achieve a similar effect.

Re: album viewer

Hi,

Checkout this sample app on Github in the Cascades-Samples repo:

https://github.com/blackberry/Cascades-Samples/tree/master/ScrollableLists

The paged sample demos how to implement a horizontal ListView.
