camera_start_video_viewfinder problem

I have a C++ Core project setup in Momentics IDE for a camera application.

I am trying to execute

camera_error_t err;

err = camera_start_video_viewfinder(handle, &viewfinder_callback, &status_callback, NULL);

However, the err I always get back is CAMERA_EINVAL - invalid parameters used. Any idea of what is causing this issue? Is this a possible bug? I am taking this straight from the sample code provided in FaceFilter demo and FaceFilter seems to run just fine.

Thanks,

Daxal

Re: camera_start_video_viewfinder problem

Have you set the camera permissions in the bar-descriptor?

Yes, I have set the appropriate permissions in bar_descriptor.xml - one for camera, mic, and shared files.

I don't get an error message besides that - any way I can use the momentics debug tools to dig in deeper?

Not that I know of, your camera setup is obviously wrong somewhere so it is just a case of comparing with the samples and working out what you missed unfortunately.
