Yes they are.

I did some more testing, and invoke does work from the File Manager. Just not directly from email.

I tried it out with your invoke target definition below. I can see the pgn attachments in an email with a ? icon but that's expected for unknown types. But when I click on the attachment it does invoke and open my app successfully. I am on 10.2.1 though. Will try it on 10.2 as well.

Attached the app I used.

Re: invoke broken?

I'm getting all kinds of weird stuff. I can run the Invoke Target app firectly from the home screen, and it tells me to invoke it as a card, which is fine. This means the app is well-installed. But if I choose it as a target for the file in the File Manager, it shows the black startup screen for the app, then nothing.

If I choose Chess-wise from the list of possible apps, it starts an old version of the app (1.0.0) which was deleted from the phone long ago! This is not good...

Re: invoke broken?

I expect you have rebooted the device ?

Re: invoke broken?

If you are seeing a black screen, that might be expected as I did not handle the new invoke target for pgn I added for your test case. But the point is it is getting invoked from a file attachment for me.

Re: invoke broken?

Rebooting helped, as the mistery version is no longer started. And the example with the Invoke Target app also works.

Now when I select a PGN file in the File Manager, I see a black startup-screen, which closes after a few seconds, and I'm back in the File Manager. However, if I do an "Open in..." on the file, then my app is correctly started. Are these cases handled in different ways?
