port ios app to bb10

I have an ios app, (not a game) that uses core graphics to paint some of the screens(did not use interface builder). What would be the equivalent path to take on bb10.  I have the same app on android and blackberry, I don't know if any of those versions would be better suited as a base for porting.

Re: port ios app to bb10

Objective-C is not supported by BB Native Development. There are also different UI standards for each platform, so starting from iOS means that you do rewrites to C++.

For Android, a big subset of the Android API is supported by the BB, you just have to repackage it, most applications work as-is. See https://developer.blackberry.com/devzone/develop/platform_choice/bb10.html

Re: port ios app to bb10

If it's not extremely tied to iOS sdk (read: it's pure opengl) you can port it fairy easy.

Re: port ios app to bb10

Native is better if you already have your own interface built using opengl, (for example games which often the developers write their own interface through core opengl work) which it sounds like you do.

Cascades is generally used if the developer doesn't want to build their own GUI from scratch.

Imo native is better in your case.
