syslog?

Hi everybody,

I am trying to port a POSIX library to the PlayBook but I am running into the following problem:

error: syslog.h: No such file or directory

The documentation does seem to talk about a syslog.h however, what am I doing wrong?

Best regards

Re: syslog?

Does the error show a red X beside it or a red bug?

Re: syslog?

There is an issue with indexes getting out of sync in the 1.0 NDK.  Try to rebuild the index (right click on your project, choose Index -> Rebuild) and then clean and build again.

Re: syslog?

Nope, no dice. I noticed that there is no syslog.h in the /Developer/SDKs/bbndk-1.0/target/qnx6/usr/include folder.

Re: syslog?

We don't have such include file. This is not posix header - it is system specific logging capability. I sugget to disable this functionality of implement your own stub for this.

Re: syslog?

So what does this document talk about then?

Re: syslog?

This is qnx syslog,h whcih would be useless for porting, unless you port qnx app. This is a bug in docs, since we don't ship this header file in NDK.
