Bought my wife an 8900 to replace her 8700. She's got a MacBook, has all her contacts and calendar entries on her 8700, and has never synced to the Mac. In order to get her contacts/calendar to the 8900, I tried to first sync her 8700 to the Mac, and would then sync the Mac and 8900.
I downloaded PocketMac, tried to sync, and it seems to always stall (I've waited up to an hour while it's syncing contacts, so I'm assuming it's stalled) while syncing the contacts.
*upgraded her OS to Leopard (after unstalling PocketMac)
*reinstalled PocketMac, and downloaded the driver updates
*tried to sync only either Contacts or Calendar (instead of both), but it still stalls. Below is the sync log from the Contacts only sync (to the point of the stall):
[07:35:10.577] PocketMac SyncManager Started
[07:35:11.841] Blackberry -> /dev/cu.Blackberry
[07:35:12.194] No mounted media card found.
[07:35:32.196] No mounted media card found.
[07:35:53.827] Progress:ISyncClientConnectingPhase 0
[07:35:55.905] BlackBerry device pin 23D70EC3
[07:36:02.226] Begin synchronization
[07:36:02.227] Synchronizing contacts
If the 8700 has about 150 contacts, and a lot of calendar entries, would it take more than an hour to sync? Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
