Have never done this previously but would like to assign specific ring tones to contacts such as wife, office, manager etc. Have not been able to figure this out on the 8830 from Sprint. Please help ......
Go to Address Book -> select specific contacts fro which you want to have a specific tone -> click Menu and select Edit -> select Add Custom Ring tone -> choose your desired tone.
