I have 8703e and I have the same problem. It is very frustrating.

Same problem here also after updated to 4.5. I recommend installing the Quickpull application. Since it simulates removal and replacement of your battery, it gets the meter working again without having to hassle with physically removing the battery. Also, I had to download the old version 1.2 since the newest Quickpull doesn't work with the 8703e

What version of OS 4.5?
8700 with 4.5.0.174 seems to be ok with it.
Will monitor it though, only been one day.
