Hello,
Is there any way of permenetly removing the BING browser from the Blackberry 8830? I know I am able to hide the icon, but I would prefer to remove it so that is is exactly the way it was prior to the icon push.
Can this icon (and functions) be removed from a local PC hooked to the Blackberry?
Can this icon (and functions) be removed by using a BES server?
What are the negetive effects of removing it? (If it can be removed)
I found the article from Blackberry - Document ID KB20496 that makes it seem as if this can not be altered from the customer end.
Thanks for any help your insight you can lend me.

It is enabled via a carrier pushed Service Book. If you delete the service book, it will get pushed back.
Just hide it. I create a folder on my device homescreen named "junk" and move carrier pushed junk icons in there, and then hide the entire folder.
