I have just baught a Blackberry 7290, but i am having trouble setting up my email & data connection.
I have switched on the wireless, registered for enterprise activation, but still no luck.
here is what i have found:
on the main screen i get the message "data connection refused"
there are no icons to select a browser
i have checke firmware (which is up to date)
my service provider has no mms cofiguration settings for this model.
is there any way i can get this to opperate, all other functions are working, recieving and making calls, sending and recieving text messages are good as well, just cant set up my email. i think it has someting to do with that "data connection refused"

do you have the BlackBerry data plan?
Go to OPTIONS> ADVANCED OPTIONS > APPLICATIONS > HOST ROUTING TABLE > then press the Menu (BlackBerry) Button > REGISTER NOW.
