Blackberry 8700g does not connect to media manager. I would like a solution for this problem. I have Windows vista and I downloaded the 4.5 desktop manager. This work perfectly except for the media manager that indicates that the device is not connected. Please, inform me if there is something that should be done that I do not know
I have an 8700C. I installed Blackberry Desktop Manager V184.108.40.206 and I have V220.127.116.11 (Platform 18.104.22.168) OS installed on my device. When I go into the Media icon in Desktop Manager I have a split screen with Media Manager on the left and Blackberry Media Sync on the right. The Start button for Media Manager is greyed out. I installed Media Sync, was told to install iTunes, and then told my device is not supported for Media Sync. I have not been able to get Media manager to work since Desktop Manager version 4.1 or 4.2.
I Have had the same problem. The 8700g is not compatible with the newest media manager, but should work fine on the older one.Go to the BlackBerry Website And on the software tap click on desktop software and install the USB Driver and then it will work. Thanks
